Well Another great week in Argentina. I can´t believe it has already been over a year since I said goodbye, the time is going by so so so fast.It seems like everyone is doing well. I cant believe how much Mom and Dad have been partying since I left and now they think they can just go off to Germany.Well its been another tough week of finding, teaching and helping.Monday: We were suppose to have a lesson with a part member family, that the guy isnt a member but he wanted us to come over, but they werent there which happens quite regularly. So we spent the rest of the day trying to find some new people to teach by knocking doors, or as we do here clap at the front of their fences.Tues: We spent all morning looking for a member that stopped me and my old companion about 4 weeks ago and told us he wants to come back. We have spent forever trying to find him because he says his wife isnt a member but wants to listen. The only problem is nobody knows where he lives and the address he gave us only has the street and no body knows him there. In the afternoon we had a lesson with one of the most chosen investigators I´ve ever heard of. His name is Juan Carlos Mesa and he is the kid that knocked our door. We taught him the plan of salvation and he just said,"wow, it just seems perfect". Then we went by the Rojas family and taught her about the plan of salvation too and told her we´d come by sunday morning and we would go to church together and she was very excited about it. That night we had a FHE with a young family that got married the week I got to this area. I taught about the importance of having family home evening everyweek and then we played Gospel Jenga. The little boy loved it and wanted to buy it from me haha.Wed: We went to Merlo in the morning for district mtg and then got back at about 3 in the afternoon. We went by a member that is starting to come back to church and wants to serve a mission. Then we had our mtg with the Pres. and then had our first Branch Council Mtg.Thurs:In the morning we went by a member that has cancer and just about every other sickness and I guess when I called to see if we could come by she figured we wanted to eat so she prepared us lunch, eventhough we already had a lunch apointment for that day. We ate fast and then went quickly to our other lunch, I was STUFFED. In the afternoon we went by another inactive member and talked to her about coming back. She really wants to but she gets alot of persecution from her family so it makes it hard for her.Fri:We spent the morning knocking doors trying to find more people with not much luck. Then we had lunch with Quevedos. After lunch we visited another inactive family that is in the process of coming back, and I got chewed out again because the members dont do their home teaching and stuff. I never realized how important that is until I got here and saw what happens when you dont do your visits. After that we took the bus to teach Jorgelina. We taught her the plan of salvation as well and she loved it. She has a hard time understanding everything so she prays like crazy to be able to understand. She has such a strong desire and knows the church is true. (her and Juan carlos will be baptized on the 14th of march!!!). On the bus ride home the rain started and turned into hail which was fun to see. We came home and then got some ice cream to celebrate my one year mark.Sat: In the morning we had an open chapel to talk to everyone on the street and invite them in to see the chapel but we were just able to teach alot of people outside because they were too busy. During the rest of the day we worked again on finding new people. To finish the day off we went by the Rojas family to make sure everything was still good for church in the morning and then left because they had some visitors get there. (he chewed me out sunday because we didnt stay longer).Sun: I think everyone in the world promised me on their own that they were going to come to church. We went early to set everything up so we could go pick up the Rojas Family. When we went by everything was shut up and so we clapped and nobody answered. I was pretty depressed. Went to church and Juan Carlos came. He really enjoyed it I think. In The Gospel Principles class I invited some of the youth to come in because they dont have a teacher. I asked one of the boys to share how he came to know that the church was true and he said because his mom told him it was. Juan chewed him out and told him he needed to pray and find out like he had done hahaha. I just sat there shocked and so happy. After the mtgs one of the boys asked him if he was baptized and he said no and the kid asked are you going to and he said yes and then he asked when and juan just looked and me wondering when he could be baptized. If the investigators didnt have to go to church 4 times before they get baptized he would already be baptized. After church I made brownies to take to Rojas because their little boy had his birthday that day. When we got there they felt so so so bad. She set her alarm and never heard it and woke up at 10. The Guy was like hey gringo you have to come and bang on the door so we get up. I told them next week my comp was going to break down the door so that for sure they would hear. I sure hope they progress because it will be hard to drop them.Well there is my week. It was a very busy but a good week. I hope everyone is doing well and has a great week
Love
