Scott First Letter
Finally got my email account set up today. Wow what a week its so so sobusy> all the time. I hope you got my letter. I did send it the same day as Isent> Stephanie's the mail is just slower than slow. So I don't know where to> start. We wake up get ready usually have breakfast at like 7 am (WAY TOO> EARLY). Then we have class then gym usually around 10 or 10:30 dependingon> the day. Then we have lunch around 11:30 (All of our meals are on theearly> schedule). Then we have class again till 4:30. Then class again till 9:00.> Then we have a 30 min planning session with our companion. Every day is> alittle different and usually between one of the meals our teacher isn't> there so thats what they call MDT time and thats where we do personal,> companion, and Language study. We have ten missionaries in our district(All> Elders). We have two teachers that switch off they are Brother Nelson and> Brother Jefferies. They are both way awesome! I think I have learned morein> the past 7 days than I did in the whole 2 years of Spanish in High School.> Its amazing how you can learn with the help of the spirit. It is almost> overwellming cause I am not getting it as good as some of the others inthe> class so they seem like they just keep pulling away. I've been trying to> improve my pronounciation(Probably spelled that wrong) by reading out load> from the spanish Book of Mormon at least an hour a day during MDT. We went> to the temple this morning which was great. Sunday we got to go walk up to> it and that was just great to get out it feels like you're in a whole> different world inside here. I have the top bunk in my room and I think I> messed up my foot getting off of it one of the first days so I've likebeen> limping around. Dad call jen when you get this and tell her thanks a tonfor> the goodies and also tell her the way to get the Calculator to work is to> turn it on, push second and hold the up button till she starts seeing the> stuff come up. There are a few things that I would appreciate if you could> send me:> -Addresses for all the family (including Grandma)> -Birthdays of all the family> -At least one of my Leathermen (I need some type of tools I'm gonna go> crazy) they are in my wooden tool box in my room> -I need a copy of my mission call>> I think thats all for right now. We only get a half hour on the computersso> sometimes its going to be hard to read the emails and reply, good thing i> can type fast. Everyone is obsessed with the mail haha we check it likefour> times a day. Friday was awesome because Jen and Stephanie sent me packages> and I got your letter (dad) and another letter from Stephanie. Mom Ididn't> get your letter till yesterday. O AND GUESS WHAT! I have gained 7-10 lbs> from where I am normally at. So yes mom I am eating quite well. I haveseen> Brother Young a few times which is fun. I have also seen Elder Wall and> talked to him yesterday. I saw Braden on Sunday at dinner but thats theonly> time because his eating schedule is way different. I hope everything is> going well. Dad I hope you've figured out how to do the ebay stuff and> everything. I think its kinda funny that the snow is melting now haha. But> its weird I haven't really had too much time to think about things at home> or snowmobiling. Mom I'll try to make a copy of my schedule so you can see> exactly how it works. I am out of things to say so Dad I guess you can> compile this and send it to everyone if you wantI love you guys very much and thank you for raising me so well in this> gospel! Its true and amazing.>> Love, Elder Veenker
